Par Derriere is a romantic wine bar and restaurant. Par Derriere was established in 2009. The restaurant was formerly located in the heart of Tel Aviv and relocated to the Noga neighborhood on the border of Yaffo and Tel Aviv. Par Derriere means ‘by the back’ alluding to the hidden garden.
The restaurant’s 700 sq.m (8000 sq. ft.) are divided into intimate spaces, each with its own unique style and design.
The front reminds the Parisian-style café with bistro tables and chairs on the pedestrian street in the heart of Noga quarter.
The interior style is more industrial combining the raw and contemporary elegance of wood, metal and leather. The wine bar, the softy deemed lights and the open kitchen give the impression of a large modern warehouse with a pure and friendly spirit. Further on, you will discover the jewel of the crown the ‘magical garden’.
The hidden garden offer different seating areas, two lovely bars and a private cellar room fitted for private events and corporate events. You will enjoy a romantic dinner for two as well as big friends and family reunions in our flowered and shady garden.
Par Derriere’s unique menu includes a wine menu of nearly 100 wines carefully selected by our sommelier, Itay Shalom, from the best boutique wineries in Israel and around the world. They are served by glass, carafe or bottle alongside an exhaustive list of contemporary and classic beers, cocktails and alcohol.
The dishes are based on fresh products arriving daily from Tel Aviv markets. Among our most famous dishes, you will find the cauliflower’s salad, pecan nuts and citrus fruits, the Florentine pizza, béchamel, spinach and truffles, the hamburger and fries, the beef filet, seasonal vegetables and homemade puree and for vegetarians the leeks and potatoes patties on tahini and eggplant cream.
Open all week from the morning until late evening, you can have breakfast in the morning, a business lunch at noon, relax with a drink during the happy hour, enjoy a candle diner after the sunset or eat an European style brunch on Friday and Saturdays until 17:00, quite unique in Tel Aviv.
We offer the option to reserve spaces in the restaurant for private events of any kind, from 15 guests to much larger events.
